Apple Launches Watch Series 3 With Cellular Features

At the special event in California, Tim Cook announced that Apple’s smartwatch has surpassed Rolex in terms of sales. Taking things forward, the company unveiled the next generation Watch. Dubbed as Series 3 Watch, the new line-up comes with a standalone cellular feature.

The Cupertino-based tech giant has used electronic SIM card alternative to keep the size of the device in check. So despite packing in an additional radio and powerful dual-core processor, the Watch Series 3 is the same size as that of its predecessor.

In terms of design, the Series 3 does not bring anything new to the table. It looks exactly like the previous version save for the red crown. Much like the previous model, the new Watch Series 3 is water and dust resistant.

The Apple Watch comes with an on-board speaker, so now finally Siri can talk back. Leveraging on the standalone data capabilities, you can now stream music directly on your Watch. It has Bluetooth connectivity that lets you hook up AirPods. As usual, the Watch Series 3 offers health and fitness tracking features.

The Watch Series 3 base model is priced at $329. Those who wish to opt for 4G LTE will have to shell out $399. The device will be available to pre-order on September 15.

Three Collectible Seikos on Amazon

Seiko watches have always been very popular and highly collectible.
In my view, as regards the current Seiko watches that you can buy new, the most collectible and at the same time affordable are the Seiko Monsters (divers) (so unofficially called), the Cocktail Time and the Alpinist.
All of them can be found on Amazon, for example, also with some internet sellers.

Auf der Spur meiner Fitness bleiben {TomTom Watch}

Bevor ich schwanger wurde, war ich sehr in meiner Fitness. Wir hatten viele Jahre lang Probleme, schwanger zu werden, und so rannte ich dreimal pro Woche und ernährte mich gesund, um unsere Chancen auf eine Schwangerschaft durch IVF zu verbessern. Ich habe einmal einen ganzen Beitrag darüber geschrieben und gebe Rat und Tipps, wie man sich in einem geschäftigen Leben bewegen kann , und ich versuche mein Bestes, all diese Dinge zu tun. Aber wenn du berufstätig bist, hast du nur einige Wochen andere Prioritäten (wie Krankheit und Schulferien) und es ist nicht immer einfach, sie zu integrieren.

Ich laufe seit kurzem regelmäßig - seit Harry & Lottie im Vorschulalter angefangen hat. Verwalten Sie jedes Mal ein paar Meilen, zweimal pro Woche. Mein treibender Faktor war unser bevorstehender Urlaub in Griechenland. Und wow, ich fühle mich besser dafür. Die Uhr

Die Uhr kostet £ 189,99. Es kommt in schwarz und fühlt sich klobig an, ist aber super angenehm zu tragen. Ich habe wirklich schlanke Handgelenke und doch passt es so gut (der Riemen ist verstellbar), und Sie können kleine oder große Riemen bestellen.

Konfiguration

Wenn Sie die Uhr zum ersten Mal erhalten, müssen Sie sie an einen Computer anschließen, indem Sie die Uhr über das mitgelieferte USB-Kabel anschließen. Dies ist so, dass die Software aktualisiert werden kann und dass sie paaren kann. Sie können dann Ihr eigenes Konto bei TomTom einrichten, damit es Ihren Fortschritt verfolgen kann.

Es gibt auch eine TomTom MySports App (für Ihr Handy), mit der die Uhr synchronisiert wird, um alle Ihre Aktivitäten zu verfolgen.

Sobald die Uhr eingerichtet und überall synchronisiert ist, können Sie damit beginnen! YAY! Wenn Sie die Uhr den ganzen Tag tragen, sagt es Ihnen, wie viele Schritte Sie den ganzen Tag machen. Ideal für Ziele wie Kalorienverbrennung oder Gewichtsverlust.

Der Akku hält ziemlich gut (ein paar Tage), aber ich überprüfe, ob es in der Nacht aufgeladen werden muss, bevor ich die Übung plane, da ich einige Male ertappt wurde, wo die Batterie fast leer ist.

Verbesserung

Ich benutze meine hauptsächlich zum Laufen (aber es kann zum Schwimmen, Fitnesstraining oder Radfahren verwendet werden). Ich wähle schnell den Run-Modus, es "findet" mich schnell, dann klicke ich auf "Go". Während ich renne, merkt es, wie lange ich unterwegs bin, wie weit ich bin und wie schnell ich bin.





Ich habe es nicht bemerkt (vorwachen) Ich habe nur 1,9 Meilen gemacht !!!! Ich dachte, ich würde über 3+ gehen! Jetzt dränge ich mich weiter und es hat definitiv mein Laufen verbessert. Ich versuche auch meine Zeiten zu schlagen.

Ich finde es toll, wie ich meine Ziele, Aktivitätslevel und Statistiken für jedes Training verfolgen kann. Meine Läufe sind jetzt auf dem Computer mit allen benötigten Informationen (zusammen mit einer Karte meiner Route) angemeldet. Ich kann zurück zu meiner Geschichte blättern und meine Fortschritte verfolgen.

Musik

Ich höre nicht Musik, wenn ich laufe, aber diese Uhr soll dafür brilliant sein. Mit den gepaarten Bluetooth-Kopfhörern können Sie unterwegs Musik hören und es bietet Platz für bis zu 500 Songs, die in Wiedergabelisten arrangiert werden können. Ich könnte überredet werden, zu einigen Tuuunes zu rennen!

Das Laufen hat mich wieder besser fühlen lassen und mir mehr Energie gegeben. Plus die erstaunliche Landschaft, die ich bekomme, wenn ich laufe, ist es wert.

Es löscht auch meinen Kopf und lässt mich lebendig fühlen. Groß für, wenn die Familie mich verrückt macht oder Arbeit beschäftigt ist.

Rolex Watches

The first couple of blog articles we added we’re concerned with Rolex watches in particular, and whilst we are keen not to repeat ourselves too much on here, I thought it rather appropriate to discuss in brief some things to avoid when buying Rolex watches, especially in relation to making sure you don’t fall victim to the many counterfeit timepieces on the market.

I’m fairly confident most people are familiar with the myth pertaining to the infallible method of checking the second hand on Rolex watches to see if it sweeps or ticks. If it ticks you’re being tricked, if it sweeps then no need to weep. Alright so I made the rhyme up and I don’t imagine I’ll be picking up any literary awards this year (or ever for that matter), but still, it explains the common thinking on the subject. In truth there are several indicators that will expose Rolex watches as being a fake.

The aforementioned second-hand “sweeping or ticking” is not without it’s merits and is grounded in some truth as many of the cheaper counterfeits contain a crystal quartz mechanism which produces a start/stop tick per second. In contrast Rolex watches have a second hand with a much more fluid motion, although it is not entirely “tickless”, rather it consists of eight movements per second. To the naked eye this will seem as one smooth motion, but is in actual fact not perfectly smooth.

Other Rolex watch fakes have been presented with transparent casing on the back, something very rarely produced by Rolex themselves. Another aspect to look out for is whether there is an engraving of a logo on the back of the watch. Rolex have never engraved their name or logo on the case back, with one exception being the Sea-Dweller.

In order to try and reduce the instance of counterfeit Rolex watches being mistakenly purchased Rolex have recently been releasing watches with holographic stickers on the back. Depicted in the hologram image are the Rolex crown logo above the reference number of the piece in question. In general a fake Rolex watch with a hologram will be given away by the fact that the hologram itself is a solid green colour, or it will even be non-holographic and simply contain the word “Rolex” over and over again. Even more recently a full circle has been reached and Rolex themselves have stopped releasing new watches with holograms on the back in order to make the counterfeits out of date.

Finally genuine Rolex watches have a date magnification bubble which will fit the date perfectly, whereas fakes will not be able replicate this effect accurately. It would be a good idea, if you are thinking of investing in a Rolex watch to go to a reputable dealer such as ourselves at Second Time Round to look at a few different ones, which should then give you a basis of comparison if you should wish to buy privately.
